Expeditionary Strike Group was founded for true team-play gamers who have a certain respect for the armed forces. This is a Military-Simulation "CLAN". A clan in description only, we see ourselves as a virtual battalion. A Marine Expeditionary Unit "MEU" involving infantry, spec. ops, light and heavy armor, amphibious landing craft, and an air wing consisting of helicopters and jet aircraft.
This battalion will give you the opportunity to experience gaming while being part of a disciplined, well trained unit that shares the same objectives you do. Expeditionary Strike Group also gives you all of the benefits a "clan" without the brain damage. We believe in playing within the battalion as well as public matches to satisfy our need to play with non-members while still being able to utilize training that you will receive.
That's right, training. Training within the clan structure ensures we are all operating on and deciphering information the same way. It also gives us a way to evaluate what positions you are a best fit for within the fire team, squad, platoon, company and battalion is concerned. We need and value players from infantry through pilots, from poolees to generals.
With all that the Battlefield series offers we are even able to take the experience to the next level with organized training for specializations and combat scenarios. Scenarios give us a way to include all of our training, experience and instinct in a members only atmosphere. Taking full advantage of the training and discipline will make you a better player in and out of the clan.
The most important aspect is that we conduct and represent ourselves in a manner that any person involved in the armed forces would be proud of. Trust me we have members that have served and are serving in the military and our way to honor them and the sacrifices they and others have made is one reason we have this outlet.
So think about it. This is not your average "clan", it is a combat battalion. This isn't a "run and gun" or "I just wanna snipe". This is teamwork at it's finest. Talk to members, play with us in some public matches. Ask yourself if you have what it takes because I will tell you not everyone does. Again, the question is.... do you?
Recently, I asked for and willingly accepted three resignations. I want no loss of morale and no confusion. As I tell everyone I interview before joining, if you want someone to play with you that is in the Expeditionary Strike Group, send them an invite. Don't rely on ESP. They may be online for other reasons, send them an invite!
To be unequivocally clear, the next person that makes a statement that they have done or are doing more for this Company than some others, you will also be asked for your resignation. As you grow in the Company, your responsibilities will also grow.
If anyone feels I have misrepresented our rules, regs or policies, let your direct supervisor know immediately.
